Study Trip Netherlands

Poor soil conditions and the fact that a large part of the Netherlands lies below sea level make the realization of construction projects a major challenge. A steady population growth and booming economy bring with them a multitude of construction projects. The resulting shortage of skilled workers in the AEC industry has driven digitization in design, making the Netherlands a pioneer in BIM design. We visited some companies and construction sites to establish international contacts and to get an insight into the progressive construction industry in the Netherlands.
